Specialized Services Medicare Skilled Nursing Unit A twenty bed Skilled Nursing Unit for patients with medicare insurance and the diagnosis of, but not limited to, the following: tube feeding, physical, speech, occupational and respiratory therapy, wound care, tracheotomy, IV therapy, renal failure requiring dialysis, short term and long term rehabilitation. The SNU is staffed with RNs, LPNs & CNAs. A wound care specialist provides treatment for patients who are admitted with decubitus ulcers. Our Medical Director and Staff Physicians are responsible for maintaining a high level of health care standards and procedures. They make regular visits and are on call for emergency treatment twenty-four hours a day.
